A JOYFUL Fertility Focused 2019. Let Me Show You How.



Ah, the year-end blog post about what I learned and what I want to let go of before I jump into the new goals. It all seems too routine. Another year goes by, another year ahead.


Well, that outlook on life is a bit shitty don't you think? Why is it so much easier to focus on the negative. We want something and because it does not happen, life sucks. Really? Well, how much work did you put into it? How much time did you spend on it? How much faith, trust, and clarity did you have behind it? There are ingredients that go into the wanting part.


When you get good at adding the ingredients, pretty soon your wants start floating in like the ocean waves.




My personal opinion, YOU COME FIRST. The secret ingredient is what you do to yourself on a daily basis. How you talk to your self. How you love yourself. How you feed yourself. What consumes your mind.


2018 was a year of coming back to my truth. A year of new emotions, thoughts, and life changes I never even imagined. It was the first major year of my fertility journey. The year of failed IVF cycles, the year of real yearning for my child. More tears filled my eyes than ever before. More sadness consumed my heart than I can remember. That weird feeling of looking in the mirror after weeks of hormone injections and not knowing whose body that is. The feeling like you completely failed as a woman.


Somewhere in between all of that. I believe it was after my second IVF failure, I somehow found my yoga mat again. And, after a couple of classes and meditations, I found my true self again. I comforted her for weeks. I allowed her to let go and cry. I didn't push her to share. She opened up when she was ready. It didn't take too long. She is a talker and a sharer (wink. wink.)


So, with that I would like to share with you some lessons I learned this year:


Listen to your body. Understand who is talking. Your mind? Your heart. Your intuition?

Do your homework. Learn as much as you can about YOUR body and the fertility options.

Have patience.

Eat Clean and enjoy your favorite foods.

Meditate.

Do yoga. Not sweaty, workout yoga. But, restorative, pranayama, meditation, kundalini yoga.

If you keep hitting a wall, find another way.

You have a choice to think positively or negatively. Flip the script.

Be super specific when talking to GOD

Crying is a form of detoxing and cleansing. Cry more!
