Yoga Pose to Release Negative Thoughts




This morning, my yoga teacher mentioned before setting an intention for what we want to bring into this lifetime, we first need to release what we don't want to bring in from our past.


During Viparita Karani (Legs Up the Wall), I focused on what I refuse to bring into my future. The feelings and experiences that I brought on myself through self-doubt and fear. Plus, the emotional rollercoaster a.k.a fertility journey. I learned a ton about myself during my fertility journey, but I would like to release the leftover emotions that still feel like knots deep within my body. It's not about forgetting, it's about detoxing and releasing so the body stays healthy.


Allowing these feelings to float through the mind and body with a strong intention to let them fall onto my mat, really worked! I felt so relaxed and light coming out of savanna and couldn't wait to get home and declare my intentions for my life from this day forward. My heart and body feel so open right now. My mind feels no worries.


I am beautiful. I am bountiful. I am blissful. I am I am.


For a quick release of your negative thoughts and experiences you have encountered on your fertility journey, step on your mat and practice one of my favorites power flow poses.


Come into Utkatasana (Chair pose)

Interlace fingers over head, except index finger

Take a big inhale and on your exhale cut through the center, releasing anything that is not serving you, cut it away.

On your inhale release your fingers and swing your arms in a big circle as your fingers come back together over your head. You are purifying your body on your inhale.

Repeat 9 more times!

Make sure your breaths are powerful. You should be able to hear your exhale. Get it all out!!! Close your eyes if you can.
